The first episodes of Andor Season 1 are now available for free viewing online. As the highly anticipated premiere of Andor Season 2 approaches, Disney and Lucasfilm are making it easier than ever for viewers to dive into the gripping world of this Star Wars political thriller. Current Hulu subscribers can enjoy the complete first season until April 22. For those who aren’t subscribed to Hulu or Disney+, the first three episodes of Andor can be viewed for free on YouTube.
Episode 1 is titled “Kassa,” followed by Episode 2, “That Would Be Me,” and Episode 3, “Reckoning.” In addition to these episodes, Disney has rolled out a comprehensive recap of Season 1 that runs for just under 15 minutes. The initial season consists of 12 episodes, revealing the backstory of Cassian Andor, portrayed by Diego Luna, as he embarks on his journey to join the Rebel Alliance in this prequel to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
On March 13 at 3PM ET, Disney will host a special rewatch event featuring Gilroy and select cast members, which will be accessible on Disney+, Hulu, and the official Star Wars YouTube channel. Fans should mark their calendars, as Andor Season 2, the series’ concluding season, debuts on Disney+ on April 22 and will also consist of 12 episodes, with a new format releasing three episodes weekly over the course of a month.
Expect to see familiar faces from Rogue One, including Ben Mendelsohn reprising his role as Imperial officer Orson Krennic, a key player in the creation of the original Death Star.
