“Dark Winds” Cast to Appear at Special Event in New York City March 2025

Join us for an engaging discussion with the cast ahead of Season 3’s premiere.
On March 5, Zahn McClarnon, Kiowa Gordon, Jessica Matten, and Deanna Allison will take part in a TVLine Spotlight event, part of a series showcasing prominent television stars and creatives. The show, based on Tony Hillerman’s Leaphorn & Chee book series, is set in the early 1970s against the backdrop of the Navajo Nation near Monument Valley. It follows Lieutenant Joe Leaphorn, portrayed by McClarnon, and Deputy Jim Chee, played by Gordon, as they unravel compelling mysteries within their community.
Season 3, debuting March 9, picks up six months after the previous season concluded. The storyline revolves around the mysterious disappearance of two boys, leaving behind only a forsaken bicycle and a patch of blood-stained ground. Meanwhile, former Navajo Tribal Police sergeant Bernadette Manuelito, played by Matten, navigates her new life 500 miles away, where she uncovers a vast conspiracy related to human and drug trafficking. Allison’s character, Emma, Leaphorn’s wife, is a dedicated nurse and midwife deeply connected to the women she assists.
